Helping Homeless North Wales is a community group dedicated to providing support and resources to homeless individuals and families in the North Wales region. Our mission is to raise awareness, offer assistance, and advocate for long-term solutions to homelessness.
7920 households were threatened with homelessness in 2024/2025
6495 families are currently living in temporary accommodation
160 individuals were estimated to be sleeping rough last September
1 in every 200 households in North Wales are at risk of homelessness
About Us
We are a community-led group based in North Wales dedicated to supporting people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. Our work focuses on providing practical help, compassionate outreach, and connections to essential services for individuals facing difficult housing situations.
What We Do
Street outreach supporting rough sleepers across local communities
Providing emergency essentials such as food parcels, clothing, hygiene products, and bedding
Supporting individuals living in temporary or council accommodation
Signposting to housing services, healthcare, mental health support, and employment resources
Advocacy and practical help with forms, appointments, and accessing entitlements
Community engagement to reduce stigma and raise awareness about homelessness

Our mission is simple: to ensure that no one in North Wales feels invisible, unsupported, or alone during times of housing crisis. We believe everyone deserves dignity, compassion, and access to the support they need to rebuild stability in their lives.

Bringing warmth, food, and community to hundreds of people experiencing homelessness during key times of the year.

Every Christmas, we serve 600+ hot meals to individuals and families facing homelessness. A warm, welcoming space where no one is left out.
